As this year draws to a close, we want to pause – not simply to look back on what has been accomplished, but to give thanks where thanks are truly due. Above all, we thank God, from who every good and perfect gift comes (James 1:17). We also want to thank you – our customers, friends, and supporters – who have walked alongside us throughout the year.

The Birth of Christ: The Foundation of Our Hope

This season calls us first to remember the birth of Jesus Christ. Christmas is not merely a sentimental tradition or a cultural celebration; it is the proclamation of God’s sovereign grace entering human history. In Christ’s incarnation, we see the faithfulness of God to His promises and His redemptive plan unfolding exactly as He ordained.

Jesus did not come simply to inspire or instruct, but to save. Born in humility, He came to live the righteous life we could not live and to die the death we deserved. His birth reminds us that salvation is entirely the work of God – by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. This truth grounds everything we do and gives meaning to every season, including the work of our hands.

Thankful for Your Support

We are deeply thankful for the support we have received this year. Whether you purchased our products, shared our story, offered encouragement, or prayed for our business, you have played a part in sustaining Lakeside Farmstand. At Lakeside Farmstand, we seek to steward our work faithfully, producing wholesome, locally sourced food for families while trusting God’s provision

We recognize that no success is achieved by human effort alone. While we work diligently, we trust fully in God’s provision. Your support has been one of the means God has used to allow us to continue producing wholesome, locally sourced food for families, and for that we are sincerely grateful.

Looking Ahead to the Year to Come

As we look forward to the coming year, we do so with humility and hope. We are reminded that “If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that” (James 4:15). Our plans are held loosely, but our trust is firm. We pray that the year ahead would be marked by faithfulness – faithfulness to God, to our values, and to the families we serve.

We look forward to continuing this journey, seeking to steward well what God has entrusted to us, and serving our community with integrity and care.

Thank you for being part of our year. Thank you for your trust and your support. Most of all, thank you for allowing us to do this work to the glory of God alone.

From our family to yours, we wish you a Christ-centered Christmas and a New Year rooted in grace, peace, and hope.
